Two sulfated triterpenoidal saponins from the barks of Zygophyllum fabago L.
Two new sulfated triterpenoid saponins, zygophylosides Q (1) and R (2), have been isolated from the barks of Zygophyllum fabago L. Their structures were elucidated as 3beta,24,28,30-tetrahydro-urs-20-ene-24-O-sulphonyl-3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-30-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and 3beta,24,28,30-tetrahydro-urs-20-ene-24-O-sulphonyl-3-O-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl]-30-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, respective...
متن کاملA New Ursane Type Sulfated Saponin from Zygophyllum fabago Linn
One new sulfated saponin 3β,23,30-trihydroxyurs-20-en-28-al-23-sulfate 3-O-β-D-xylopyranoside (Zygofaboside C; 1) was purified from the water soluble fraction of ethanolic extract of the aerial parts of Zygophyllum fabago Linn. The structure of the compound was elucidated through spectral studies, especially 1Dand 2D-NMR, HR-FAB mass spectrometry, and comparison with literature data.
متن کاملTriterpenoidal saponins acylated with two monoterpenic acids from Gleditsia sinensis.
The isolation and characterization of three new oleanane-type triterpenoidal saponins, called gleditsiosides E-G, along with two known ones, from the anomalous fruits of Gleditsia sinensis LAM. are described. Their structural details were unambiguously determined by using a combination of modern NMR techniques, including distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer (DEPT), double-quantum...
متن کاملA Survey on Phytochemical Composition and Biological Activity of Zygophyllum fabago from Iran
Purpose: Zygophyllum fabago L. (Z. fabago) is a widespread perennial herb which is used as a medicinal plant in traditional medicine of Iran, Turkey and China. The present study was a survey on phytochemical constituents and biological activities of this plant. Methods: Methanolic extract of the roots was fractionated over a C-18 pre-packed cartridge (Sep-pak) and chromatographic separation was...
متن کاملInvestigation of degradation process of Zygophyllum fabago L. seed reserves during germination under different pH
Abstract Zygophyllum fabago L. a facultative Perennial halophyte, is grown in arid and inert areas. Due to the different acidity of the soil in natural habitats of Zygophyllum, the effect of pH on the process of seed reserves decomposition during germination was examined. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with seven pH levels (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10) and f...
